Pitching Terms and Guidelines
Pitches are booked from 2.30pm on arrival to 10.30am on departure date. Arrivals after 7pm must be advised in advance. No pitching between 10pm & 8am as per our T&C’s. There is an area to wait in if you wish to travel at other times.
Instructions are also left on the reception door.
The measures below are to show consideration for all visitors and neighbours.
Too many gazebos, event shelters, large towing vehicles are having a detrimental effect on other visitors.
These are in addition to our site T&C’s which you have agreed to by booking & staying on site.
- Only one car allowed per pitch – extras must go into the car park field, & be pre booked. Charging will be at our discretion.
- Event shelters not permitted. Small Gazebos only to be pre booked and at management discretion & we reserve the right to ask you to remove them.
- Pup tents on caravan pitches must be no more than 2m x 2m.
- Tents are not classed as awnings and are not suitable for many of our caravan pitches.
- Maximum six adults per pitch, and at our discretion.
- Camper vans, & vans used for towing caravans, are not allowed on pitch with caravans. These must park in the car park with tickets displayed.
- If booking a hardstanding pitch, all the unit must stay on the hardstanding. No pup tents etc on the grass area.
- Gwynver field – maximum 6m tents only.
- Middle of Gwynver field – cars only no vans (no VW’s, transit etc).
- We reserve the right to refuse or move bookings that arrive with larger, variations etc than booked.
- Specific pitches cannot be reserved for less than 5 nights in any instance. We cannot guarantee a requested pitched at any time but will always do our best to accommodate preferences.
- Wood burning open fires are not permitted. These are clearly a fire risk & not environmentally friendly. Embers burn holes in tents and the smoke fills neighbouring tents. Raised barbecues and charcoal are permitted.
