SAT NAV will take you PAST to a lane UNSUITABLE for vans.

Heated washrooms. laundry open. The shop & cafe will be closed. The farmyard is busier in the winter with farm work and vehicles. The cattle are inside & start calving at about Christmas.

There is more farm activity in the farmyard so please show extra caution when driving in and out at 5mph. If we are moving cattle, access may be restricted for a short length of time. Please be patient and leave gates etc as you find them if passing through.

The scenery can be as dramatic as it is stunning, and you should be prepared for wet, windy days. Remember your books and board games. However, bring your T shirts as the next day can be warm & sunny. Great time for walking and exploring the stunning area in quieter months. You can gain access to the hidden treasures that are simply too busy in the summer months. Check what’s open & closed when planning your days.
